It's Been Crazy!

Yes- I have been MIA from the blog. But there has been so much going on and when I have downtime...I'm playing with Will….so less time for blogging.
Catch up:
Will is more fun by the day. He’s ALL OVER the place. He started walking in late June and now there is no stopping him. He gets into all the cabinets and drawers. We’ve had to step up the baby proofing. He loves daycare and his teachers…he’s always happy to see us in the afternoons, but wants to stay and keep playing. I love that he likes it so much. He loves to brush his teeth every night and in the morning…he has lots of teeth now. He babbles all the time and can say Dadda, Momma, Jack (yak), dog (og), kitty kat (ki kat), baby (bab), ball (ba), fish (ish), all gone (ah gan), bye-bye, tree (t), Roll Tide (okay well maybe not yet but we’re working…he says “Ooo- ta”), and a few others but I can’t think right now. He blows kisses all the time and now gives kisses when you ask for "sugar" or "lovin." He's awesome…he makes the noises and everything (mmmm-ma). He LOVES Mickey Mouse clubhouse! He dances to the hotdog song and waves goodbye to Mickey when it’s over. He still loves books more than anything….and “Llama Llama Red Pajama” is still his favorite. He does hand motions and jumps in all the prompted places now. At his 15 month checkup he weighed 24.9 lbs and was 32.5 inches. He wears size 24 mo clothes. He is a great little fella and so much fun.
Brian and I are doing great too. Work is picking up for both of us. I’m having to travel a little more so that is hard, but it is part of the job and I can handle it. Brian is fantastic with Will and his Mom comes down and helps out when I have to go. We also have a great support group of other family and friends that helps us. I hate to be away from Will, but I know he is in wonderful hands that love him so much.
Oh and ROLL TIDE!

Few pictures

I still have to download pictures from the 4th of July weekend in Albertville and our recent trip to Destin, but here are a few cute pics of Will lately.
This picture was taken at the lake in Florala. We stopped there and let Will stretch his legs and eat lunch on our way to Destin. He loved it!

Fun in the Hot Hot Sun

Will loves being outside, but it is sooo hot right now! We try to go to the park or the pool in our neighborhood often, but we have to go around 6:00 at night :) Posted a few pictures and a video of some fun we've been having!

Today

Today starts at a new daycare...Kids First at the First United Methodist Church. I pray that he loves it as much or more as he loved Deerfoot Baptist. He is so going to miss Miss Myrna and his other teachers (Miss Catie and Miss Jennifer) and his friend Hudson, but we have to try somewhere else. Deerfoot has fabulous teachers, but has VERY strict policies and I personally think some of them are ridiculous. Mainly we need to find somewhere else that will work better for us and hopefully Will can attend more frequently (and not be sent home all the time). We had a very good feeling when we dropped him off this morning- we was down in the floor and playing and exploring. He'll get to go outside and play everyday (covered playground)...so he'll love that. We are going to have Miss Myrna babysit for us and also just meet us at the park, pool, etc. so we can keep her involved in his life. He loved her and so did Brian and myself. She took wonderful care of Will.

Happy 1st Birthday Will

Our little Mister is now 1!! We can't believe it. He is such a blessing to our life and I can't imagine my life without him.
A lot has happened in the past month: first haircut, first trip to the zoo, Will's birthday party, fun on the lake, first swimming in the pool, and first trip to the E.R :(. Life is crazy and wonderful.
I have posted picture of a lot of the events. I don't have any pool pictures yet (bc I was in the pool with him) and I don't have any pictures of Will's boo-boo. It's gross- so I don't want any pictures of it.
Will LOVES the water. Anytime we go by a pool he points, starts babbling, and starts bucking...he wants in the water so bad. We finally got in the pool and he splashed and played and laughed. He loved it. He loves to drink the water too...that's not too good.
The day after Will's birthday- he pulled a lamp off a table and it cut his arm. His Daddy and Grandmomma took him to the ER at Childrens and he had to get 9 stitches. I was out of town for work and it broke my heart not to be with him. Brian said he only cried because he didn't want to be held down and that he acted like nothing had happened to his arm. Today is 20 days later and his arm is infected. It makes me so mad that it is not healing. We have done everything the doctors told us to do. His doctor said sometimes this just happens. His doctor gave him a strong antibiotic so hopefully it will clear up and heal fast. I hate it for him, but he acts like nothing is wrong. Pray for fast healing!
Okay- now back to the fun stuff...
Will's favorite book is "Llama Llama Red Pajama". We have to read it every day. It's a really cute story. And that's a really cute tummy too, isn't it?? Will looks exactly like his Daddy :)
We had friends over for dinner and all the kids got to play. Will had so much fun! In the picture is (from left to right) Drew, Will, Harris, and Alexa.
Jessica, Alexa, Will and myself. Will and Alexa are 10 days apart :)

Will's 1st "official" haircut on May 18, 2010 by Aunt Bettye. We did trim his mullet a few months back :)

After shot...ain't he pretty??? :)
Showing us where his belly button is :)

Cheesin for the camera :)
Having fun at the zoo :)
Will's Birthday party was puppy dog themed b/c of how much he loves Yack (Jack) and dogs. It was a lot of fun and Will had a blast. He was definately a trooper this day. He's such a happy, laid back, fun baby!

Will loved his cake....as you can tell :) LOL!

We went to the lake with Grandmother and Paw-Paw on Memorial Day. Will loved riding in the boat and especially driving it :) He also loved playing in the pool and around the boat in his birthday suit :)

Will has not had his 12 month doctor visit yet- so I don't have his official weight and height stats. He will go in 2 weeks hopefully after the antiobiotics have fought this infection in his arm. Today he weighed 23 lbs and 12 ounces though. He is wearing 18-24 month clothes. He is a big healthy boy.
We LOVE him so much!

Monthly Update :)

This past month has been SO BUSY :) My official work "busy season" is over, but we have been crazy catching up with everyone that it feels like we haven't slowed down yet. But- that is how I always am :) Will has spent the night with his Grandpa and Grammy, Grandmother and Pa-Pa, and Aunt Nicole all this month. Brian and I have had friends in town and went to Destin for a banking conference. We had a good time at everything, but I am so ready for the next few weekends with nothing on my calendar. I plan on cuddling with Will, going for walks with our new jogging stroller, hitting the park for swinging, and hopefully making it to the zoo. I just plan on spending lots of time with my lil' man :)
Poor Will has my allergies! He has sinus infections all the time. As soon as he comes off an antiobiotic, he gets sick again and has to go back on. Right now he's feeling much better...but he's on medicine. Hoping that most of the pollen got washed away this weekend and that it won't be so bad. Maybe we can both get better and get off our meds :)
Will is just amazing me and Brian every day. He is just the best baby ever! He is so fun and sweet. He's very laid back (like Brian), but also so animated (like me) at the same time :) It's really funny to see. He has a head full of hair now and it no longer stands up all over the place. I thought it was cute sticking up, but now he just looks like a beautiful little boy :)
Will is facinated with everything! He has his finger up in the air pointing all the time :) He's starting to mimick what we say. Like I always point to things or people and say, "Who's that? or what's that?" Well we've noticed him pointing and it sounds like he's saying "dat" :) He says Da-Da, Ma-Ma, Bye-Bye, Dog, and Yack (Jack). He's trying to say baby...he says "Ba" for baby, book, and bottle :) He's babbling all the time though...gonna be like his Momma :) Will loves to get out and about, visit people, and see new things. He also loves to play and read books. Books and pictures are his favorite things right now. He cruises everywhere and I think he'll be walking very soon. He actually walks with his little push toy walker thing :). He has lots of fun little tricks too. He of course loves to wave bye-bye (that is his best thing). He will pull up his shirt and point to his belly button when you ask him where it is, he loves patty-cake (although he just holds my hands still) and peek-a-boo, and he just learned how to hi-five and thinks it is so funny. We still are having no luck with the sippy cup though. He just wants his momma to hold it for him while we cuddle :) I promise I may rock and cuddle this boy everynight until his feet drag the ground. I can't get enough of him :)
Oh and one more thing- he now has his 2 top teeth too :) He's all snaggled-tooth...it's precious!
This is a favorite new photo of Will and his best friend, Jack. Jack is great with Will and they started "playing together" even more. They both love to look out the window together :) This was the cutest afternoon- they had the best time. I wish I had a better picture of this. I didn't have my camera that afternoon, so had to take the picture with my phone :)
Will loved the Easter Bunny. He watched him the whole time and would just belly laugh when he would come over ;)

He's checking out the Easter Bunny's teeth :)
He found his first easter egg
Crawling on all fours and drooling.
Finding his easter basket the Easter Bunny left. He loved the rubber bunnies.
Family picture
Beautiful- sweet boy!
He loves flowers! He always points at them and wants to touch them.
Big laugh :)
Fun with Mommy
Daddy is so much fun!
